Vivahsaj is operated by Sundarbans Innovation Pvt. Ltd. This Return Policy explains the conditions under which products purchased on the Vivahsaj platform may be returned or replaced. For cancellation and refund details, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
When Are Returns Accepted?
Returns on Vivahsaj are accepted only in the following cases:
- Manufacturing Defect: The product has a defect that makes it unfit for use or significantly different from its listed specifications
- Wrong Item Received: You received a product different from what you ordered
Important: Returns for reasons other than manufacturing defects or wrong items (e.g. change of mind, incorrect size selection, buyer's remorse) are not accepted.
Reporting Window
You must report a defective or wrong item within 3 days from the date of delivery.
After 3 days: Reports received after the 3-day window will not be eligible for return or replacement.
Verification Process
All return requests are subject to verification by Vivahsaj before a return or replacement is approved. This is to ensure that the claim is genuine and meets our return criteria.
Report the Issue
Contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number, description of the issue, and photos or video evidence
Vivahsaj Reviews
Our team verifies the claim and may request additional information or evidence
Decision
If approved, you will be offered a replacement or refund depending on product availability
Return Shipping
If the item needs to be returned, shipping arrangements are handled on a case-by-case basis in coordination with the seller
Return Shipping
Return shipping is arranged on a case-by-case basis. Since wedding-related products can be large or heavy, the logistics of return shipping will be coordinated between Vivahsaj, the buyer, and the seller.
Note: For verified manufacturing defects or wrong items, Vivahsaj will work with the seller to arrange return pickup or cover return shipping costs where feasible.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for returns, even in case of defect:
- Perishable items (flowers, food items, etc.)
- Custom or personalised products made to your specifications
- Items marked as “non-returnable” on the product page
For non-returnable items that arrive defective, we will assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution on a case-by-case basis.
Refund on Approved Returns
For approved returns:
- If a replacement is available, we will ship the correct/new product at no additional cost
- If a replacement is not available, a refund will be processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item
- Shipping charges originally paid are non-refundable
